Jarryd Cooper

Biography

Jarryd has represented employees and management in employment law cases for his entire career.  Jarryd graduated from USC in 2008, where he was a member of the varsity tennis team.  He then graduated from Loyola Law School, where he was a member of the Dean’s Honor List, and the Loyola International & Comparative Law Review.  Following law school, he practiced plaintiff/employee-side employment law before joining the Employment Law Department at Paul Hastings LLP.

At Paul Hastings, he represented many of California’s largest and most significant employers in actions involving discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation, disability discrimination and failure to accommodate, employee privacy, minimum wage and overtime issues, wage and hour issues, and employee mobility/misappropriation of trade secrets.  While he has continued to provide advice and counsel to certain companies, Jarryd is now focused on representing employees and executives in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour issues.  He handles both large class actions and individual matters.

Jarryd does not give up easily. He takes his cases personally and works hard to get the best result possible.
